The Cybersecurity National Lab has been tasked by the Cybersecurity Unit of the Italian Republic to form an Italian National Cyberdefender Team to represent Italy in international competitions.
In Europe, ENISA organizes the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) every year with the aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge and talents across Europe. The competition is open to all European countries, and each nation that registers for the event participates with a team of 10 players aged between 14 and 25.
In Italy, the National Team includes the best among young talents who have participated in the CyberChallenge.IT project. Team members gather annually in September to get to know each other, train, and refine their technical knowledge in preparation for the challenges.
