With the following disclosure, we wish to inform you that your personal data will be processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR"), Legislative Decree 196/2003, and other applicable provisions regarding the protection of personal data.

1. Who is the Data Controller?

The Data Controller is the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics - CINI, with registered office and administrative headquarters in Rome, Via Ariosto, 25.

2. What data do we process?

Your identifying data (e.g., personal details, telephone numbers, and contact details) and information will be collected and used. contained in your CV.

The processing may also concern specific categories of personal data, i.e., "sensitive data," capable of revealing your health (e.g., any pathologies, allergies, intolerances) and your religious beliefs. This data will be processed exclusively to the extent necessary for training activities that include meals and/or overnight stays.

3. Why and for what purposes we process personal data

Your personal data provided will be used exclusively for the purposes of the training program, in particular:

  1. to offer you professional training in technical and scientific subjects, particularly in IT, and to inform you of career opportunities in the cybersecurity sector;
  2. to allow you to participate in competitions, contests, and projects, both nationally and internationally;
  3. to keep you updated on the organization of events;
  4. to keep you updated, with your consent, on new initiatives organized or supported by CINI.

4. How long will your data be retained?

Personal data will be retained for no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. The data may be retained for archiving, scientific research, and statistical purposes, with the guarantees set forth in Article 13 of the GDPR. 89 GDPR.

5. How your information will be processed

Your data will be processed primarily using IT tools, adopting appropriate measures to prevent loss, illicit and incorrect use, and unauthorized access, as well as ensuring integrity and confidentiality, in compliance with current provisions on the protection of personal data.

6. To whom your data may be communicated or transferred

The data being processed will not be transferred to countries outside the EU and may be communicated for the purposes of the training program and initiatives related to the workshops/competitions/tenders/projects, and with your consent, to schools, universities, and public or private research centers that have joined or are partners in the project, as well as to sponsoring companies and private businesses.

7. What are your rights and who can you contact to exercise them?

The GDPR grants you a series of rights, including the right to request access to, rectification, restriction of processing, portability, and erasure of your personal data, as well as to object, in whole or in part, to the processing of your personal data. You may exercise these rights at any time with the Data Controller, possibly using the form provided by the Italian Data Protection Authority and available on the website www.garanteprivacy.it.
